It took me about 10 minutes to put this shoe rack together. Included in the box are 8 white metal poles and two side pieces that are made out of a very flexible plastic. All you need to do is push the 8 poles into the left side plastic piece and then take the other side piece and put it over the 8 poles, line them up, and press firmly to attach the side piece to the poles. You can shift it around a bit until it is level and then set it on the floor to use it. It holds 20 pair of shoes, more if they are flip flops and you can stack them on top of each other!

* Extremely sturdy. The hooks on this are 0.24 inches in diameter. They're probably stronger than the door you'd hang if off of.
* The hooks that have to hang over the top of your door are 0.062 inches thick. Pretty thin but strong and they fit my door perfectly.
* Hooks have rounded spheres on the end so they won't damage whatever is hung from them.
* Pretty attractive. See photos.
