They are made of a durable and thick plastic. 

One side is very slick and the other side has a thin foam cushion with material 

like on a mousepad. It keeps your hand or foot from sliding 

off and makes it easy to move across the floor.

They may be compact but they pack a punch when it comes to working out. 

My first workout with these confirmed that I could feel the muscles in my

 legs and abdomen afterward. I also love that when i travel

(Which i do alot) I can take these right along with me and get

a quick workout in with alot results!!
